The Icon of the Seas, this completely amazing new giant of the seas

The shipping company Royal Caribbean International has just unveiled the first images of its future liner, the Icon of the Seas and assures it: it will be "the largest cruise ship" of the new generation.

Eight quarters, a giant water park, seven swimming pools, twenty decks, 2,085 cabins... Royal Caribbean International has just lifted the veil on its future liner, the Icon of the Seas. And the images of what will be the "largest cruise ship" ever built are dizzying.

This new giant of the seas, 365 meters long, looks like a mini-city with its eight distinct districts. During the day, the 7,610 passengers will have the choice between having fun in the six water slides of the Thrill Island water park (l'île aux shivers), relaxing in the infinity pool or the cocktail bar at Chill Island (l island to relax), test the course of ropes and obstacles of Crown's Edge (the edges of the crown) or go to eat in one of the forty restaurants of Central Park .

In the evening, shows will be offered in the liner's ice rink and parties will be organized, but tourists can stay and relax in their cabin, or play areas for children will be set up. Enough to transform the seven days of travel between Miami and the Caribbean into a real adventure for the whole family!

But beyond its very playful side, which should appeal to many families, as well as young adults, the liner is particularly interesting for its ecological side. The Icon of the Seas will, in fact, be equipped with fuel cells and powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) , considered the “cleanest” fuel that exists today .
