Bezos and the White House clash over taxes and inflation

Bezos posted tweets over the weekend accusing Biden of misleading the public and blaming his administration for the spike in inflation.

The White House attacked Jeff Bezos on Monday for his criticism of President Joe Biden for saying that his plan to tax the rich would reduce costs for consumers, an escalation in the war of words between the founder of Amazon.com Inc and the government.

Bezos posted tweets over the weekend accusing Biden of misleading the public and blaming his administration for the spike in inflation, saying they "scrambled to inject even more stimulus into an already overheated economy."

White House spokesman Andrew Bates responded that "it doesn't take much cunning to understand why one of the world's richest men opposes a middle-class agenda that cuts some of the biggest costs families face, fights inflation and adds to the deficit reduction the president is achieving by asking wealthier taxpayers and businesses to pay their fair share."

United States: a truck full of vibrators blocks the highway

The accident happened in broad daylight in the United States. A truck full of vibrators overturned and blocked a highway. These images have made the rounds of social networks and American media. On Wednesday, September 14, a traffic accident took place in the United States on a highway. A truck overturned on its side, leaving much of its cargo toppling over.
