Kim Kardashian's extreme diet for the Met Gala unworthy of Hollywood

In order to fit into her sparkling dress for the Met Gala, the American star subjected herself to a draconian diet.

Is Kim Kardashian becoming a dangerous example for her most impressionable fans? The reality TV star was one of the red carpet sensations at the prestigious Met Gala earlier this week. She appeared, statuesque, in a glittering beige dress on the arm of her new "boyfriend" Pete Davidson. So far, nothing surprising. 

Kim Kardashian also explained to the press that she imposed herself on a draconian diet for three weeks during which she barely ate to get into her dress. In an interview for Vogue magazine , Kim Kardashian explained that she wanted to pay tribute to Marilyn Monroe by  reproducing her iconic silhouette  during her famous "Happy birthday" to President Kennedy. Nothing better than Marilyn's real dress , on loan from Ripley's Believe It or Not! from Orlando to Florida to mark the occasion. To fit into the dress in question, the star was forced to lose 7.2 kilos very quickly, in a few days . 

Since it was impossible to touch the dress, Kim Kardashian decided to modify her body. "I wore a sauna suit twice a day, I run on a treadmill, I stopped all fast and slow sugars. Just vegetables and proteins. I didn't starve myself but it was really very strict “, explains Kim Kardashian to the magazine. 

This type of very violent diet is not recommended by doctors and dietitians since it can have an impact on the physical and mental health of patients. They are also very ineffective for long-term weight loss.
